You n***** do know that from 2000-2006 Lil Wayne was pretty much a non-factor in Hip hop. He had to reinvent himself by...

Stealing from: Dipset (style), Major Figgas, Jay-Z, Big Sean, Drake, Juelz (rhyme scheme, metaphors, bars, flow).

Same thing for 50, he will need to re-invent himself. That stubborn n**** need to get new n***** around him.

Wayne was making music but he wasn't getting Mass appeal like he is now His Lights out album was the end of Original Cash Money Wayne...............When 500 degrees came out that's when he changed his style(with the help from Gillie) then came C1 But His Overall Best album is C2............That C2 was my s***
500 degreez was one of he worst albums ever made! Wayne had no identity, he really started grinding with the Squad Up tapes but was still on the level of Banks. No one was thinking of wayne for a good 5 years and especially while 50 was reigning. I think Wayne forgot about that.
I agree wit you. Lil wayne changed his style to gather a larger appeal. Because that fast rapping Whobble whobble s*** was not working. He changed his style and made his self more slower, and actually start spitting bars. Look at all his mixtapes from 2006 to about 2008. That n**** became a monster. Now on to 50 cent. The problem with 50 is that he dug his self into a hole that is almost impossible to get out. He made himself so "Gangsta" that he can't transition to any other type of style without being labeled a sellout. See Jay Z was a Gangsta Rapper, but his personalty allowed him to grow into another form of rapping. He's More older and wiser. We all know that Jay-Z is not selling Crack anymore, and he's not rapping about that anymore. With 50 cent, we all know he's not selling crack and shooting people anymore, but he stills raps about the s***. Don't get me wrong, I like 50 cent, But I want him to Rap like he does Interviews. In an Interview he is a Charming, Down to earth, Ambitious, Business man. If he was to Rap like that he would still be realevant. You have to grow wit your Music!

If you look at what 50s did from 08 until not hes still accomplished stuff

-tos group album sold about 400k which is unheard of now besides young money
-bisd album sold about 700k ww
- cologne
- 2 books
- video game
- street king
- movie company invested about 100 million dollars in him
- Youtube views over 100 million

Now what other rapper can say that?

Its just hes always compared to his past work so his new accomplishments look small.

after C2, which was the sh*t, Wayne just stole everybodies style and made it his own.....

but C1 was the trigger.....

^^^^
That song with dystiney child with the phantom whip in the video... That right there got wayne poppin again Mainstream.
But the Carter sold 1.25 million and Carter 2 sold 1.7 million (in the US).

That's not running the game but that's not a "non factor".

Curtis the album sold 1.35 million (only 100k more than Carter, and less than C2). That doesn't mean 50 was a "non factor" yet

u cant compare carter 1 and carter 2 sales to curtis sales..curtis came out when record sales were starting to decline..back in 05 hitting that milli mark wasnt hard

People compare sales from 03 to 2011 all the time.
C2 came out 3 weeks before 06 so a comparison to 07 is fair
Oh s*** the n**** Mic turnin the tables on all those n***** still livin in 03
just cuz people compare 03 sales to 11 sales it doesnt make ir right,..and no its not fair cuz albums sales started declining in 07 ..its ok to compare an 01 album to an 05 album..but not a 06 album to a 07 album
