That doesn't make it "harder for artists to have a chart topper" it makes it "harder for artists to debut at number one off of digital sales." it will be more reflective of songs general popularity and won't let songs that sold a lot in a week then got no radio play and no more sales be number one hits when really they weren't massive hits, just had one heavy week of sales. It forces a record to perform better overall to reach higher positions rather than just have one strong week.
