THEN WHY IN THE F*** ARE THE FIRST TWO SINGLE DIRECTED TO THE B******??? THE S*** ALREADY LEAKED AND WE ALREADY HEARD IT SO, WHY NOT FLIP THE MUTHAFUCKIN RESET BUTTON AND DROP "STRETCH", "PSYCHO", OR "DEATHTO MY ENEMIES"??? THE N**** ALREADY GET P**** SO WHY KEEP "SINGING FOR HOES", AS HE ONCE DIRECTED AT ANOTHER ONCE FAMOUS RAPPER!!!
@emo so you just proved my point , 50 is not a leader he a follower , following what others are doing rather than being bold and carving his own niche , looking at charts to map his path rather than drawing his own line in the sand, 50 is fully capable of putting out something that does'nt gut his whole image just because everyone else is doing it is far from an excuse. more and more i see people coming out the woodwork giving t.i praise and respect for his music , 50 can do it , but he chooses not too.
pop music is pop music , its bubble gum for the kids , many men was soul food , hate it or love it was soul food , and now we comeback to 50 cent restaurante and we get red hots thats the difference.
IF T.I CAN DO IT SO CAN FIF , FIF IS MORE CAPABLE THAN T.I IN MY OPINION
MANY MEN >>>>>>>>>>>>>>PAPER TRAIL
if he paid for burn me out his pocket it would have done better than ok you're right and it would have earned him a lot of respect and replay value , respect ten times more important than a chart position on the billboard.
its not a riddle when you earn the respect of the public from your music , nas has never had the commercial success of 50 but he has garnered more respect , jay-z has never had a in the club but the respect that people have had for his prior works keeps there ears open to his future and endeavours and keeps up his consistancy which btw is better than fif's , lupe fiasco has earned your respect as an artist from his prior music and if he were to go to jail for a while and comeback out , you would be right there in line to cop the first cd he comes out with because there is that substance that you enjoy, because what he puts out isnt substanceless pop music , when t.i comes out of jail he will have the same following , 2pac dropped "me against the world" while he was in jail when he could not promote his record and it not only went to number 1 it was there for 5 weeks , set a record for best first week sales for a male artist ever at the time, his first single off that album was
good music never goes out of style , timeless music never goes out of style . you say the whole billboard is full of s*** , i agree .
they say you need a commercial r&b track to be successful , i say no one is really trying anything different. i want to see the major rappers who failed when they put out a "real" track full of substance and failed.
if eminem had released "beautiful" as his first single as opposed to "we made you" , dont you think that his sales especially first week would have been better, that he would have gained more interest for the project? of course he would have we both know it , its not a riddle its just real.
