True, but as you said, Dre brought that ever-increasing possibility of "failure" by waiting those 11 yrs to drop Detox.

I think the album will be full of bangers, but still wont live up to the hype because it wont be better than 2001

I'm sitting her listening to I need a doctor and kush and thinking it's possible but unlikely. I mean iw old have to be perfect balance of everything. I still think it will be best album of 2011 easily. It's funny that we say it won't live up to expectations yet it sounds like we don't have high expectations if we expect it to fail.

i don't know. y can't ppl look at dre's album as just another album? or is it cuz dre made it look like the counter defense to an "2012" theory and end the worlds hunger. Detox should take mankind to the next level. :)

Dre let people raise the bar too high for him. It's high enough he could drop Nothin But A G Thang and Deep Cover as his next two singles and people would still hate on it, especially the younger crowd because they don't know what Dre music is they just respect him.
Dre needs to push a million in a week with the hype, and because both his superstar Artists under him that he made, Eminem and 50 cent, both did it in between his last cd and now.
