The truth is, if southern music were more a reflection of the south's best and brightest (3000, Ludacris, Cee-Lo) no one would have a problem. When Soulja boy, Plies, Wayne, Jeezy and a bunch of other half ass rappers top your list, the reign of the south sucks. Everybody is saying the same thing. Ask yourself if this were an art gallery and everyone gave you their perspective of a fruit basket, wouldn't you be tired of looking at fruit baskets by the 10th one? If you truly love hip-hop demand that artists at least attempt to elevate more than just their bank accounts.

It's not that people in the northern states aren't making music. The labels aren't signing and pushing the talent. You have to have a southern beat and a new dance to get on now. Thats for half ass fans, they need to give something to the real fans.
