Ive been reading threads about 50 should use big name features, or he should go solo, or the top producers he should use. Bottom line is this. Music is a business but it is so personal to 50. He doesn't use any of his business sense in how he constructs an album. If he did, he would easily go platinum again with 5 featured. Wayne, Ross, , Ye, Drake and 2 Chains. Also a G-Unit Reunion with Game and Buck, f*** bring back Bang Em' Smurf Too. A smart business man (like 50 Cent is), would see the money and do just that. But it's more than music to 50, it's personal. What are your thoughts?
Fif is a street dude at the end of the day though. How would he look rapping about being shot & stabbed, dealing crack, and growing up an orphan, on a song with Lil Wayne & Rick Ross for example who fabricated their pasts? That be going completely against everything he stood for when he started!
50 has even said in the past, he's not that good of a business man - he didn't even finish high school. He just carries himself like he would if he was in the streets. The thing with G-Unit is, early on it wasn't a business or a record label; it was family. 50, Smurf, Yay, and Banks, tatted that on them before they had a record deal saying that if this rap sh!t don't work, we'll still be hustling TOGETHER. They made Buck and Game a part of it later but those two didn't understand that that's what it was.
still he said n i quote " i never did drugs , smoke marijuana" on piers morgan
Who said anything about doing drugs?
i think 50 will work with Drake, Lil Wayne and whoever people don't want him to work with sooner than we think. he has no choice, people are expecting him to make a comeback, and he needs to expand. same goes with Lloyd Banks
banks should have been on that NYC shot caller remix wit fat joe, jada, styles P,uncle murda and red cafe.
