well ja prolly had a big white audience too with all those pop records he had.. em was the best loved rapper mainstream wise then.. and when em got involved everyone knew about it and was a whole different story.. 50 was carrying the ja rule beef on his back from early 00s and it was part of his story and even after GRODT dropped ja was still relevant..

i was only like 13/14 when grodt dropped but i was aware of it and i know all the s*** that went down from reading about and listening to the tracks and s***..

but the 2 albums he dropped just after GRODT still did pretty well and he was still relevant.. relevant enough that 50 was pissed after that new york track.. i just think after em got involved the s*** blew up and he made people hate ja for mentioning his daughter in a track.. maybe i titled the thread wrong 50 did do damage.. but Eminem is the one that made ja vanish from hip hop and i think ja would be relevant today if he didnt step in..


but on the real you the only one thats puttin a strong argument against what im sayin.. but i dont have to use my cop out card yet lol..

But U Cant Replace That Atmosphere Back Then....Fif Had The Heat On Ja...We All Knew The Songs..Murder, Heat, Back Down, Many Men..When 50 Rapped On GRODT We All Knew He Was Talking About Murder Inc.....Cuz He (50) Told Us Anytime A Mic Or Cam Was In His Face..

But Back When That New York Track Dropped 50 Was Feeling Himself..
Thinking He Could Just Bully Jada & Joe....Plus It Was Around The Mass Time.....That Did 1.4 Mil In 4 Days..World Record..
50 Never Ending Ja's Career...Its He Just Knocked Him From A Mutli Platinum Status, To A Under Gold Artist...Now To A Wood Artist..

well maybe it was a new york thing with the change of atmosphere and s*** like that..
but yea i was aware of the beef but obviously not like i would be now.. i aint denying 50 did do damage to ja, talked about him more, made more diss records etc.. but at the end of the day i think the flatline on ja's career started when em jumped in the beef, and around 04 i dont think Ja was out of the picture he was still relevant and s*** so grodt didnt finish him like that..

50 was big back then but he didnt have the same power over the mainstream that em did.. 50 had been dissin ja from 2000 or whatever through to 04.. it was only then that ja was pulled from airplay, couldnt make hits, etc.. em turning HIS fanbase on ja was what finished him..

ja 'ended himself' by forgetting his fanbase...but he had a great career. and in da long run 50 kinda lost cuz he started singing all over his tracks which he dissed ja about.

but i liked da last album ja dropped tho
