Reason why this happens is because he wants more digital sales. He wants to get people interested in the album so that when it comes out, they will buy it. Plus he does offer a lot of bonus material on the digital versions of his album's via. Itunes and Zune Market place. Once you get people hooked on the songs, they will buy the deluxe version to get the videos. It's all a form of marketing. He wants to make sure that he is the biggest name being mentioned when his CD releases. So all up from this point, until the release of the album; people will be talking about 50 Cent.

50 just doesn't got the control, ones the Original-CD goes out to the plants that make the copies it's not under his control anymore.

I read an interesting article some time ago, the earlier a CD leaks, just means the anticipation is bigger. So if a CD doesn't leak or maybe only a couple of days before the relealse date it just means nobody cares.
