Sorry to hear about your father you've made some valid points quite the Marxist view but evidence tells us that this has been so far the best system for exploiting and allocating resources it's also help lift out more people out of poverty than any other system of trade or life.

Just look at China they have a long way to go but the amount who've been lifted out of poverty since opening up to free trade is astoundable.

Also remember that under a Capitalist system most people in the US and many other countries living standards have increased

Have a point about the Financial Crisis but in order to improve those things you pointed out such as education and social infrastructure and resources you need money and higher tax revenues and economic effects are the byproduct of Capitalism that the state can then use to redistribute fairly and upon the needed social areas of improvement

kk it isn't unreasonable to be for a more balanced system noway whether it is best is another story but increases the rigidity and inflexibility of the markets may not neccessarily be the answer just at certain countries in Europe I agree maybe the financial sector needs to regulated more but not the whole private sector they shouldn't pay for the incompetence of a select few at the top

It can sometimes come in direct conflict with our goals but then it can also bring as much advancement and elevation to our goals and dreams

i just wanted to add that

the "happiest" days on our calender like Christmas and Valentine's day, has become all about gift giving, which cost, yes you guest it, MONEY!!

F*** CAPITALISM

ITS THE ONLY WAY THESE PEOPLE COULD KEEP US AS SLAVES AND WE CAN FEEL FREE (not just black people, anyone with a 9-5)

I rather smoke weed all day then become another stressed out, depressed, brain washed american.
