What's The Future Of G-Unit Records?
Quick trivia! What was the last non 50 Cent G-Unit records released? T.O.S. & that was in 08! What was the last platinum non 50 Cent album? The Get Rich or Die Tryin Soundtrack & that was in 05! I know you wondering whats my point! My point is G-Unit production slowed down big time. What's going on? Why there was never a Olivia, Spider Loc, Young Hot Rod, 40 Glocc, Nyce, M.O.P. or G-Unit Philly albums released? Outside of Banks & Yayo (who both been released from Interscope) it seems no one is on the label. 50 has one more Interscope album then he's off the label but what happens to G-Unit? Do he forfeit the label like Jay Z did Rocafella when he moved to Live Nation? If 50 do gets to keep the label then what will be the artist the company is going to back other than G-Unit the group members? What's the future of G-Unit records?

I agree, that family feeling of Shady/Aftermath/G-Unit isn't there anymore. Productions been lagging too. For a long time. Maybe Before I Self Destruct's horrible numbers can motivate these guys to get back to where they were at. But as a realist, I highly doubt it regardless of how much I would love for it to happen.

that aint necessarily true through, look at Eminem, after the Encore album, nobody wanted to hear Em anymore because they thought he was going to do the same old jokes and the same annoying accent and all that, next thing u know, he comes out with Relapse, its a classic, THEN he is tops the decades record sales. Look at Gucci Mane for example, people hate that dude, he drops a album and its HOT. People find out Rick Ross was a corrections officer, he drops Deeper Than Rap and it has great sales and its a hot record. So technically that aint true. Its all about the people and the change in times. Right now, whats "IN" is "Swag" and all that crap, it aint about "Ganster Rap" as much as before anymore. Thats why true Hip Hop REALLY aint made it back yet, only bubblegum rap. Like soulja boy and new boyz and CRAP like that. The game is messed up right now, people are just too blinded by that trash to know it. and thats 100% truth.

What I mean is when you was a platinum artist then you're not a platinum artist, there's not many in hip hop that was able to be a platinum artist again once their last album didn't reach it. Eminem don't have nothing less than 3xmillion for an album except his new one which isn't done being counted yet. Relapse is not a classic! Gucci Mane doesn't have any platinum records, Rick Ross isn't a multi-platinum artist either.
