OK, so a lot of people keep saying how x killed x in a beef. So my question is..should the music be looked at to determine who won a beef or should the moves outside of music be looked at who comes on top.

Personally I think what happens outside the music matters the most. For example, Nas had the greatest diss in hip hop history, but yet Jay z won that beef. Nas ended up signing to Jay's label and Jay made more money afterwards. Also, Jay got a fine ass b**** in Beyonce, while Nas got an ugly ass broad in Kelis. Also, Jay z claimed that he f***** nas's girl. And even though there is no proof, Nas never denied it and a lot of people believe it.

So in conclusion, Nas came with the better music in the beef (better diss track), but Jay s****** on Nas at everything else, so Jay z won the beef.

p.s. smh @ nas signing to his enemy.

i think exposure is the best way to win a battle

if you can expose someone with real facts they are pretty much done, and then no matter how good their responce is no one will beleive or take them seriously
exactly..
This case bothers me to. Cause people be sayin Ross won. Fif is snitchin. He ain't real. But yet they just completely ignore the obvious facts about Ross. I think musically fif won. Though Ross did more songs. Fif came wit facts and was on point. Ross just had better beats
umm nas won the beef jay won the war... To me its the music not the wwf crap after words. The best lyrical diss tracks
And 50 lost the battle with game but again he won the war. He didnt really diss game he took the easy E way
Oh and I think exposing is good but in a song lyrical way not the photo shop crap or getting baby mamas in on it. Maybe if she did the hook for 50 and laid a vers down on a track that would have been either to ross
When it comes to a rap beef. The winner is thru the music. It's simple. So the winner is who has the better diss records. But career and status in the game is somethin completely different. Nas killed jay in that rap battle. Other s*** is irrelevant when two men get at each other on the mic. No board rooms, forbes list, cars or bank accounts. Just who out raps who
popularity ,point blank

lyricism dont matter

skills dont matter

what matters is who has managed to make the public like them better through there music.

that being said the sad truth is if lil wayne or drake or kanye went at 50 they would finish him , not because he aint real or credible ,but because he isnt as liked.
disagree, if 50 has enough dirt on them..he would have a big chance at getting at least half of the general public to side with him.
the problem is wayne has already been Exposed

but it hasnt hurt his career
it's all about the music... like jadakiss beat 50 cent in a battle
