What The F*** is really popping with DMX???
How come everytime I turn on the TV or go to myspace or thisis50.com, I see an article about DMX?? This dude hasn't released an album in years and manages to keep his name in the media. What happened to him?? Why is DMX doing so bad more than 10 years after allegedly helping to save Def Jam along with fellow Def Jam artists such as Jay-Z, selling millions of records in the late 90's.
DMX didn't seem to do very well as we passed into the new millennium to be honest, in my opinion. I used to really like X until I got a lil older. I always thought he was a stand up dude, but didn't enjoy the music as much after a while. He always had something interesting to talk about, but never seemed to display enough versatility to keep me intrigued.
