Swagger is pathetic...ppl can do the thinks that swag/swagger is supposed to be, and wear what they want, but the actual word is dumb. Since wen does dressing a certain way make you have an excuse to act better than anyone?

um no swag is the way u carry ur self if u come @ me one day wearin w/e u got on and the next day u come @ me with "bright ass colors and arab scarfs" im not all of a sudden gunna be like "oh hey u have swag now!" its ur whole package MAINLY ur attitude and how u go about things. id never say a n**** got swag based on how hes dressed

Swagger aint s*** but confidence, of course if I'm wearing a pair of 2,000 dollar shoes 5 ,000 dollar outfit, 300,000 worth of diamonds and s*** and driving a 200,000 dollar car of course you go have swagger out this f****** world. Its just confidence, when um doing my thang going out to the club feeling like a million bucks my swag be on 10. Its only confidence people.

No its not, the word swagger is not new, I was watching some 80's clips from sportscenter and Chris Berman was saying the word swagger. its all about confidence if you got confidence you will carry yourself diffrent then everybody. If a young boy got some dirty shoes on its no way he is going to feel confident about himself so therefore he will have no swag. LiL wayne didnt have no swag back when he was with the hot boys, lil wayne didnt have no so called swag until he started feeling like he was really the best rapper.

Styles P Dismisses The Word "Swagger"

If you listened to any radio-friendly rappers this year, chances are you were bombarded with the phrase “swagger.” In 2008, artists big and small were using it to bolster their rapping style or to describe their keen fashion sense. A rapper without swagger was a rapper with no appeal. With that said, Styles P wasn’t exactly fond of the trendy word heard everywhere.

“What did I hate about ‘08? The abuse of the f****** word ‘swagger,’" Styles P confessed to XXLmag.com. Amazed by the use of the slang term, he continued, “I don’t f****** know when so many people starting using this word… Jesus Christ! Just let it go a little bit. Lean off of it a little bit.”

To be clear, Styles P made sure he wasn’t stepping on anyone toes by stating, “I mean, ain’t nothing wrong with having style, swag and all of that.” However, SP did give his own opinion on how he perceives the trend, which highlights a rappers appearance more than their skill on the mic. “I think all the guys are starting to be so focused on the look and the way they are so much, that it almost make them like girls.”

Its not even like that. Its not that im defending the way people use it but swagger is an actual word. It is the way you carry yourself. Your voice can be swagger, your walk, your clothing of choice, etc. But most people say they got swag because they have expensive clothes that look like they were designed by a retard for retards. Hope you get what im saying. Same thing with the word hater. Hater does not mean someone who disagrees with you.

Exactly, if you talk with confidence thats swagger, if you walk with confidence like um that n**** or chick thats swagger, And if you dress real good you go have confidence. So um go say this for the last time its all about Confidence. A bummy n**** not go talk with confidence or walk with confidence so it does start with how you are dressed.
