50 Cent on Empire State of Mind Remix?December 7th, 2009 Last week, Beanie Sigel revealed that Jay-Z would be attacking him and 50 Cent on the “Empire State Of Mind” remix but word is floating around that Jay-Z wants the G-Unit boss to appear on the remix of his popular New York anthem.
According to a source close to BET, Jay-Z has reached out to 50 Cent to settle their feud. Hov reportedly wants 50 Cent and Nas to appear on the “Empire State Of Mind” remix.
Nas’ appearance on the remix is already confirmed.
BET’s source also claims that the recording of the remix by Jay-Z and 50 Cent will be documented.
Keep in mind that none of this has been confirmed yet, so don’t get your hopes up. I could see 50 saying no and making a diss track instead. That seems to be more of his style.

I think it would be great! The older hip-hop guys need to get together and remind people what it's all about.
It's an art form unique to this country, and it's being taken over by all this electronic/enhanced voice/phony-sounding s***.
Progress is one thing, but rock and roll died with the big-hair bands of the 80's....you have to stay true to the art, or it's gone.
