I don't honestly think I can place either one as better than the other. To answer your other question, they both display 50 Cent in his element, doing exactly what brought him to the dance and doing it well, whether it's making street anthems, ghetto love songs or remaking an old track and blending it with his own style and background. Both War Angel and Forever King are regularly rotated on my iPod in place of the radio, and that's saying something.

Thats a pretty glowing review for both. For me I think it had to be Forever King, due to the nostalgic glimpse of the glory days, as I mentioned in my recent magazine review. What tracks in particular stood out to you?

War Angel because it's like a mini-albulm that we all got for free ...Forever king had more of a mixtape feel

Two completely different tapes War Angel is for Niggaz like myself who like the Greezy aggressive content
that is slowly, but surely disappearing from Hip Hop which is why so many dudes switching up to this Hip Pop s*** anyways that's another show. Forever King is da smooth laid back s*** wit the 90's r&b covers.
War Angel was a mean ass tape and was so successful because we'd all been waiting a long time for 50 to drop that potent product. For me though War Angel all day

i feel ya...War Angel went harder and did mark a return to that gritty focus that 50 ain't showed in years. I did love the smooth feel of FK though. To be honest both were far better than any of his recent material in my eyes, I didn't bother with either Curtis or Massacre much.

I like both because they two different sides of 50. War Angel had those hard tracks with a little story telling and Forever King had a throwback feel with the some of the hard elements that made the first tape hot and he dropped the Super Thug persona a little on some of his verses. I personally like Forever King because we got 200 million 50 verses about killing already it was a nice switch up to have a had verse with only references in it.
