We are all getting a little ancy because of the way 50 is dealing with his new project.
It is just that 50 is a business man first, he always was. so you gotta understand this is his new format for release. if he pulls it off it will be great if he goes independant obviously. but it will once again give credit to him for setting the new wave of promoting and selling an artist without marketing dollars.
For Example:
+ Releasing 2 mixtapes before release of solid material. one of them is used to make videos for every single track on youtube so the artist can test the water on which songs generate excitement (gives an idea on what songs formulate the album.
+ not releasing a single before release (relying an mixtape videoes to keep interest) although he isnt getting radio play, which is probably the biggest seller. he has the opportunity to gain a response off the album and choose the right singles over time to help the album generate numbers over a long pertiod of time not one week basis.
+ Digital release. once again minimizes the leak, will give an indication on how many units to ship if the cd goes to stores. more access to the general public.
+ cheap digital download. if he is doing what im thinking he will sell the album for the minimum needed to generate a sales count. just like lady gaga did with her 99c album. if he wanted to make money of the album he would have released 3 by now!
+ although i feel the cover is an ep cover its got the moving flames and debris which makes the album feel even more comfortable for a digital release!
the first month will be slow but if all the wheels are in motion correctly the album will do generous numbers over time! any thoughts? #SK

com on hav u seen rick ross , currensy or any other rapper cover rbro ... i think fif has the best cover ... noone want rick ross big head ona a cover they had to amek all black so he could look normal
