TMT IS DEAD WELCOME SMS PROMOTIONS
50 Cent, whose TMT Promotions project fell apart before it could even start, is keeping his eyes on the boxing game, and has decided to apply for a promoter's license in Nevada, filing under the name SMS Promotions, and without the involvement of Floyd Mayweather.
50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, has a license in the state of New York already, and will almost certainly be granted the same in Nevada. He will meet with the commission in November.
"Floyd Mayweather's name is not mentioned, and he has changed the name of the company to SMS Promotions," said Kizer, who expects the application to be the subject of the NSAC's mid-November meeting.
"We will have a big meeting in mid-November. Nothing is set. We probably won't know the exact date until early November, but it will probably be around Nov. 15."
It was expected that Jackson and Mayweather would co-run TMT, with others involved, but their falling out led to the demise of that company. Jackson still has Yuriorkis Gamboa under contract, as far as anyone knows, and could be looking to move quickly so he can get himself involved with the Pacquiao-Marquez IV card on December 8 as an official promoter of record for Gamboa, who is rumored to be returning on that show.
50 Cent has recently had meetings with Manny Pacquiao and Top Rank, and attended the Chavez Jr-Martinez show in Las Vegas on September 15.

Yeah but for 50 it is just another cross Marketing scheme...Now SMS Headphones are distributed Worldwide, With the Gamboa Fight in December he will promote the headphones worldwide right before Christmast Time... I bet Gamboa or Pacquiao will enter the Arena with SMS Headphones on lol... Man the way things are going I think SKI will drop in December too, it depends on how well that Freaking "My Life" track will do...

yeah i know... if 50 and Floyd never fell out, the album would deff be out on the 13th because 50 was goin hard with THE MONEY TEAM thing and i know he and Floyd had somethin bigg planned after Floyd was released... everything was gonna be connected and he was gonna be all over and to be assosiated with a Floyd Mayweather fight is F****** EPIC so that would've been all the promo he needed for an album, but i guess pacquiao will have to do... if he enters with the SMS head phones on it'll be huge too... i still don't f*** with Pacquiao but i'm all for SMS audio

Yeah and I am sure 50 got it all planed out man... he even considered the fall out case... i recall That last mayweather fight with Cotto he was already rocking that sms hat on the ring... people around the world didn't necessarily know about SMS AUDIO... Plus he had his promotion License first in New York and he was making a deal with Pacquiao at the same time cauz he was not sure what Maymeather answer would be... now that it is clear he did what he had to do... Make the deal with Pacquiao and change the name for SMS Promotion in Vegas... and it is not bad at all cauz Pacquiao is way more popular than Mayweather outside the U.S.

yeah but what's the real issue about their falling out ? they used to be like brothers, f*** that s*** money is b**** devil. he should be careful many people he will have to do business with in the future will somehow or other put into account his fall out with money may to question his human side of things , they might never give him their all in the deals knowing he might try to play smart and run along with it all looll.... best of luck!

The real issue is 50 lol dude been looking for a vitamin water quick money repeat with Floyd instead of grinding it out... I will transpose the issue in the hip-hop world...

i'm not sure if 50 is the whole issue... think about Floyd... he don't like to share ownership. the name THE MONEY TEAM came from Floyd when he started going by MONEY MAYWEATHER if he created a promo company with 50 he'd have to share ownership of something that was representation of himself, he don't like that which is the same reason why he left his former manager or what not... i never like 50 on that money team s*** any way, because 50 is a creator as well and for him to jump in the boat and wave some one elses flag just didn't look good to me... i was down with them n***** of course but what ever... it is what it is
