I was listening to Jay-Z - Already Home and something occurred to a nicca.

The reason BP3 was successful (by Jay-z standards) was because Jay was singing about where he was in life in 2009. In 2009, 50 was rapping about his situation in 2000.

Eh, which takes me back to the Curtis album. That album worked because 50 was rapping about his 2007 situation. I Get Money, hot, you know why. Ayo Technology, straight flames. Felt very current at the time, maybe even ahead of it's time. Straight to the Bank worked. Still Will Kill was the most impressive joint to me because at the time to me it was 50 saying 'Look, I aint even in the hood no more. But, don't get no bright ideas alright'. Cool I thought, growth as an artist.

Certain shet was wrong with Curtis. My Gun Go Off and Man down had to grow on me. Classic 50 had a lot of pain in his voice ya kno. My Gun Go Off was the first time 50 sounded overly angry, screaming the f** over the beat. I didn't get the cadence of the hook period, it was wack.

So, if Curtis could rap more about his life in 2012 it would put him right where he's supposed to be. BUT, at the same time. Curtis got some fucced up parts of his life we don't wanna hear about. I.E., we ain't tryna hear his lil split personality, Europe touring forgot where he came from azz. We ain't tryna hear his lil Be My Betch, Baby By Me, Peep Show, Fire, lick my azz weirdo shet.

Really not tryna hear the 'trick nicca' lyrics. Idk wtf happen to the 'b**** can't get a dolla outta me', 'we don't give a fucc that it's your birthday', 'Im inna have sex I aint inna making love', 'homey aint nun change h0es down G's up' G-Unit repping nicca. Jay still throwing up the rock last time I checked. Weezy still screaming YMCMB.

Yeh, so, if 50 continues from where Curtis album left off it's gonna work. (Whilst correcting the mistakes I've mentioned that he made off Curtis.) Cause, I think of Amusement Park. The entire metaphor of the joint, it's like he thought it was better in his head than it came out. The hook on that was the issue once again, a large part of Gunit's success was 50 cent hooks. He didn't try to hammer words into place. He made interesting concepts simple to say..

Man, it was after Get Up and I Get It In didn't go straight to the top that 50 developed what seems like a life long fear of what the internet thinks about his music. There was a time when 50 did what the fucc he want, fucc who ain't like it, watch the money pile up. After people realised he was reading their trollin, and realised it bothered him if they hold onto their $1.25 and not buy his single, I think a lot of people lost respect for 50.

Meanwhile in Detroit Eminem been cooking up Not Afriad n FUCC U if you don't like it.

i was listenin' to biggie's ready to die cd...50 should do a ready to die...then

i was listenin' to pac's makaveli album 50 should do a record like makaveli....then

i was listenin' to a ahhh f*** it nevermind...50 should take sumn from every artist mix it all togetha and see wat we get...THEN MAYBE HE CAN GO TO EZ'S ''HOME'' ROFL

I know this was a joke but that wouldn't be a bad idea.. People think they know what's best for an artist and don't read between the lines. The reason other rappers get to skate when they create new visions of music is their fan base.. Yeezy went from a back pack rapper to pop rapper album to album.. Jay, Em, Wayne the same.. They get painted by their fans as either artist or daring rappers.. When 50 tried it his fans said hommie lost it.. Finding the right balance between rapper and art house is the only way he can win right now.. Or completely say screw my fans and make the type of music he wants and not what he thinks the fans want... But what do I know I'm just a fan lol

I bet them niggahs that had EZ's a** scared to walk down the street was at Ross's show.

You talking to me? You got sum u wanna say to me? HELL NO I dont wanna talk to u.. bum a** nicca.
Yeah I'm talkin to you niggah don't play dumb with me EZ
love all the lil shots at hov like how he "singing" and 50 "rapping" lol foh and how it's successful by his standards lol again, foh.
2x plat is HOV standard success.
you know damn well the climate is different now, fair enough 50's buzz was colossal but if he just came out now and dropped Get Rich you know it would of done half the numbers it actually did.
You don't have a point.
No shots though, I swear y'all me looking and reaching haha..
