Timbaland's Beats Just Dont Work Well Behind Rappers--Agree Or Disagree?
Timbaland is great MUSIC producer...thats undisputed and undeniable. But there's a difference in being great at making a club hit for Nelly Furtado or Pussycat Dolls versus making beats for rappers such as his production on Jay-z's BP3 that have been heard thus far. I thought the beat for ''Ayo Technology'' was great, but believe the song wouldve been much bigger and better received had ANYONE besides 50 used it just because it was a sound that a lot of hip hop heads couldnt or wouldnt appreciate.
Maybe i've missed some joints that he's made recently involving rappers that sounded official so feel free to disagree or even add audio examples to prove ya point.

timberland is not a good hip hop producer. He's a good pop and RNB, producer in my opinion. MY favorite hip hop producers are , Alchemist,Hi tek,havoc,pete rock, dj premeire,kanye west,rza,dr dre,J dilla(r.i.p)

idk, imo timbaland is one of the best dude has sooooo many classic beats i was listening to an old missy track the other day and i was like damn this n**** used to do his thing....his recent beats been good too but all these corny white girl songs is not poppin lol

He damn sure do got a lot of classic beats and them s**** he use to make for Missy,Ginuwine,Aaliyah all use to be sick...but even back then that was representing his talent away from hip-hop artists. Them corny songs u speak of have represented his biggest hits..we know who he was for bout 10+ years but he aint really hit the mainstream media until he did that Furtado joint like 2 years ago. The 3 beats i've heard from BP3 arent certified trash but they just aint got no real hip hop sound or appeal to them....and this last Jay song's beat is like some b******* we would expect Flo-rida or somebody else who appeals to the pillhead dipstick crowd
