Do you think we can ever be free of slavery's mental chains, if we constantly degrade ourselves and keep the slave master's favorite word alive in our own community?

Thats my point. Its not harmless. In the 40s and 50s people thought cigarettes and fried foods were harmless. Armed with new knowledge people have made lifestyle changes. Using a derogatory name for yourself in your daily life will undoubtedly affect your mental wellbeing.
