lol but how they forgot him ??? Hands down I understand that he is no where in the radar !!! I forgot when was the last time I seen him on video rotation, or radio rotation ...... but when we talking top lyrical in the game, they should at least put him somewhere up there .... how u put fif in top lyrical and not banks ??????????? seriously, even rick ross at that ... lol I don't know whose the judges over there but damn

i'm guessing they still got some OG's on The Source staff. i guarentee you 10 years from now this list will look a lot different(with the exception of Rakim being #1, that's never gonna change).

yea Rakim is permanent on that spot .... in my opinion, he will get his due respect unfortunately when he passes away .... many rappers on that top 50 list have named rakim as either a tremedous influence or as the goat ...

i never understood why n!ggaz can't appreciate n!ggaz while they're still LIVING. Rakim still puts albums out but nobody peeps game, same with KRS. but when they're gone, n!ggaz will give them high praises.

when it comes to pac, its crazy to call him the most lyrical when there are clearly way more lyricist than him ( Mos Def, Nas, Talib , Pun, biggie, and so much more ) I understand that pac had the biggest impact in the game as far as representing the stuggle and social values ( but me personally I wouldn't call him the best because of this). I guess it depends what people look into for a hip hop/Rap artist but Pac is not even in my top 5, but thats just me personally ...

sometimes being too lyrical sucks ... look at chino xl ... the guy is so damn lyrical that i just can't seat down and enjoy his music ..... it sounds like he is dead @ss practicing on coming out with his own dictionary lol !!!
