Black Moon and so many other hot groups weren't added probably due to pure sales . I don't believe they had even a gold album . This was the case for so many straight up hip hop artists of that time. They had the streets, underground and mix tape fame . But albums sales didn't do it, and now a days everyone wants to make that the point in saying how someone is the greatest .
Keith Murray ???? WTF where he is at ..Probably due to lack of sales and albums released .

yeah Keith Murray for sure went gold . But I don't think black moon ever had a Gold Album .
There use to be so many Groups and Rappers that never went gold and would still have a deal releasing albums for years in the 90's . Gangstarr for instance they only went gold on Moment of truth . That was there first gold album .

the game was different back then. these days, if you don't move 500K out the gate you're liable to get dropped. Gangstarr truly earned their plaque. their fanbase grew with each subsequent release and this also reflected in overall sales. personally, "Hard To Earn" > "Moment Of Truth".
