THE OFFICIAL STORY ON WHY 50'S SHOW WAS CANCELLED !!!
Could this be the beginning of the end for Curtis Jackson?
Many of you all may not know this, but I was in the running for 50 Cent's new reality show on MTV "50 Cent: The Money and the Power" back when the auditions were taking place in the summer. I got pretty far in the process, but ended up walking away from the opportunity once I was sent over the extremely invasive and demanding legal contract by the production company.
And by the looks of some new information that's come my way, it looks like I made the right call as MTV has officially announced that its scrapping the reality show.
MTV is hurting really bad right now. Declining viewership among its core audience of 12- to 34-year-olds, is causing the once powerful music network to revamp its image and apparently the premise of Fiddy's show is what the company wants to steer away from.
"Our new shows will feature themes of affirmation and accomplishment," says Brian Graden, president of entertainment at MTV Networks music channels and president of Logo. "Our shows are going to focus less on loud and silly hooks and more on young people proving themselves. These are themes that are consistent with the Obama generation."
Ouch!
So let's see...the new G-Unit album flopped, his MTV show is now cancelled and he pushed back the release of his new album. Hhmmm. But don't feel bad for 50 Cent. There's always VH1.

dude wake up that show got moved around more than living room furniture!! it had a primetime slot at 10:00 got moved to 1:00am and then to a WHOLE new station come on brah!! 50 doesn't appeal to the people anymore the dude been wack to me just now the whole world finally starting to see it and plus Yayo being on the show had alot to do with the ratings no one wants to see that n****!! he need to stick to dropping wack mixtapes!!

basics. its some hating going on.. his show was higher than one of diddys many shows.
it was a positive show, and it wasnt based on drama. it was business. no real fights or nuthin..
thats bugged out to me but whatever.
