I read this on twitter. Whats your thoughts? Do people really think this way?...this twitter person goes on to say Rick Ross completly changed Hip-Hop/Rap. Do you agree?

That person on twitter also says everybody back then was selling records, it's a new day (no pun intended) and most rappers don't sell as much so in a way gold in the new platinum

I agree with 1-thug, G-nits wave was so big that Yayo was doing time on the island and cldnt even promote his singles yet he still managed to sell damn near 1mil copies, anytime you see Eminem wearing a Free Yayo tshirt while at awards show should tell you...and every artist went platinum...meek will barely go gold, wale went gold stalley and omarion wont do numbers nor maspike wutever his name is. Even olivia was on a platinum single wit Candyshop.

Look at them now though. Buck is locked up, Yayo is 50's personal hype man. Olivia is doing reality shows. Banks is respected but he's stuck releasing mixtapes, and as for Game he's....well he's doin' Game doing anything to stsy remotely relevant.

all 5 G-unit Artists albums popped and were platinum sellers.. Meek Mill album isnt even above The Eminem Show currently on itunes lol.

lmao I remember ppl wearing G unit shirts hoodies pants sneakers tank tops chains headbands hats dont even get me started on a sells comparison mmg are decent but arent even close to G unit in there prime if there was a rap beef even todays 50 banks and yayo would hold there own not to mention kidd kidd and paris would spit some hot s*** at them
