The Lost Tape Review
We first got word on a Gangsta Grillz mixtape in 08 when Grimey dropped it was suppose to be a G-unit tape but it never came out. Four years later its finally here only as a 50 mixtape. Ill go through each track and tell you my opinion on them and rate it as a whole in the end.
1.) Get Busy ft. Kidd Kidd (Produced by 45 Music) - The beat goes hard nothing special but a nice beat for 50 to flow on. 50 did his thing flowing nice on it and killing the hook as usual. Another wack Kidd Kidd verse i don't understand what 50 sees in him. Not a lot of quotable's but my favorite line is "He rap I rap but we aint the same we love a game ill run a train" (Beat 4/5 Hook 5/5 Lyrics 3.5/5 Overall 4/5
2.) Double Up - Tone Mason ft. Hayes (Produced by Tone Mason) - Song has a smooth beat 50 again goes in. His flow is perfect in his verse. Another hook that 50 kills showing again why hes one of the best hook writers in hip hop. The track features Hayes he does his thing sounds like a young hungry artist and it that fits perfect in this song. Favorite line "If I want the hoe I get the hoe f*** the hoe than forget the hoe let a hoe be hoe pay a pimp pay the rent" (Beat 5/5 Hook 5/5 Lyrics 5/5 Overall 5/5)

i just don't get how people are eating this mixtape up tho, it's not that great to begin with. i'm not hating either, it's the truth

no, the mixtape sucks straight like that. if you like it cool but if you really used to listen to 50 before you should know he doesn't sound the same on that Gangsta Grillz.

it's just hard to take you seriously when you hate on 95% of anything 50 does. The only reason you d*** riding the Big 10 is just so you can hate on the Lost Tape

it just sounds like a weak mixtape, 50 sounds like he has no energy in his raps on that whole mixtape. at least 50 had some spark in him with The Big 10
