i bumped the s*** in the whip with 12's and the cd was luke warm.....Its only like 2 songs i can really f*** with on the album other than that the album was a dud

i think that was not promoted correctly because of the beef withn the inside of the g-unit/interscope label. i think that jimmie ivone or whatever his name is didnt want this album out because he's affraid of the g-unit brand leaving because they have been so sucessfull in the hip-hop side of things for them. 50 cent is on his way out of the rap game and jimmie is trying to keep that from happing because its bad interscope already lost tupac so they dont need 50 to leave

Okay this is for the d*** head that said "It can out 6 months ago" It came out in july d*** breath, do the math. And like i said that s*** was hott, but not hott enough. I bang it in my whip though.....haha. But anyway, lloyd banks carryed the whole f****** album. that n**** couldn't do it by himself. Damn 50 and yayo ste yall game up, that n**** banks did his thang!

It seemed like they only used Thisis50 as their source of promotion... didnt seem like they pushed it as hard as they should have... plus the video for "I Like the way she do it" sucked... im sure that threw a lot of people back as well... "Rider pt. 2" video was aight... "Close to Me" was hot... but no radio play and the animated video was b*******

here is the real deal, it was many reasons, I'm a big G Unit fan, but here is the low down on whats up.

First, Interscope didnt promote it at all, this site was the only promo it got.
Interscope only shipped 140k copies first week, meaning if they sold every single copy in the US, it would only be 140k first week, they did 102k.
50 was doing a movie, wasnt there to promote the album like he should have, let Banks and Yayo do the promo, see BET 106 and Park, Ed Lover show, Angie show, Miss Jones show, fif only really did Flex's show.
Albums arent selling like they were, and face it, G Unit the group with albums not selling well arent a TI, Kanye or Wayne, yes they are the top crew, but this isnt 5 years ago when everything sold.
BET beef, you saw how they shipped Banks and Yayo off, faster than any single artist that ever came on there to debut a video.
Singles were ok for clubs, but didnt blow up big
Rider was a mixtape track, did well on the streets and in the clubs, def was big in NY, but took them 3 months to do a video for the song, by then it was old and played out. Plus without Buck, the feel of the song was off.
Buck was kicked out, a key member, yes he was on the album, but you lose Bucks fans, and the south artist. Still wouldnt have sold much more though.
No new singles before it came out or even after TOS came out, it didnt sell, they moved on.

and no, singles like Piano Man, are you serious? Thats a street record, street records dont do well as singles. The album didnt have the commercial appeal, it was raw for the most part, and when BFM came out, s*** still sold, Fif was new and huge, they were new to the scene, now, only the big stars are selling, I mean jeezy and Game, I mean Game sold 5 mill years ago, now he is just gold, that tells you unless your a huge star your not gonna sell. G Unit as a crew is still top dog, what Crew drops mixtapes like the unit, drops hot albums and can even sell 100k first week? Nobody. Yeah TOS flopped, there were many reasons, but it was a good album, so you move on, they dropping dope mixtapes and now its all about BISD.
