Dre will forever be a monumental figure in Hip Hop, and his print on it is everlasting. With that said, he has definitely lost touch of what made him who he was. I just can't even help but laugh at what's been going on, and all over headphones -- the irony. If Ross is on Detox, I will not buy it, I will download a leaked version, open up an audio editing software, and edit his verse out of the track, strip his name off the feature, as well as any references made to him within the track themselves. Same goes for any of those f*** from YMCM.
It's starting to look pretty pathetic for Hip-hop. All these legends are f****** their legacies and true fans over. Jay is the prime example of this. In the past five years, he has created a new "blueprint," on how to, in essence, completely f*** over your legacy by being a complete and utter sellout, who's so clearly jaded by money that they'd sell their own blood just to put another dime in their pocket. I heard something about Nas going to Cash Money. Labels are non-important, but come on.
The only real legend i can respect nowadays is Em, or maybe Mos Def & The Roots. Em knows what's up. You wonder why dude never leaves Detroit. He doesn't want any part in the shady business, (the irony,) even if it comes at the expense of losing money.

Hes become too powerful and detached of any need of their influence that it BOTHERS them too much

Dre cool great producer and he is his own man so he can choose to work with whoever he want to, but im good he can do whatever he needs to do to get money kind of wack if you ask me
