Listen, we all know why Before I Self Destruct did not perform well on the charts.
1) First 50 Cent did not have any singles out promoting the album except Baby By Me.
It did not make sense releasing music and videos on thisis50.com. because most of the airplay would be on the radio. Radio plays are the most important tool in this game.
2) Also, why the hell did 50 Cent release BISD on his own label G-Unit? Maybe that's why Jimmy Iovine or whoever is in charge of Interscope, maybe thats why that person decided to screw 50 Cent over and ship the album late and ship less copies in certain places. That same thing happened with T.O.S.
Interscrope does not support G-Unit Records. How much promotion did Banks get for Rotten Apple? Just one good video for Hands Up. Where was the promo for T.O.S? 50 cent had to pay for the promo for T.O.S.
50 cent should have stick to Interscope, Shady and Aftermath. Add G-Unit Records would mean 50 Cent would have collected more money from the proceeds. Obviously Interscope doesn't like that.

Jay is not better because he recenly sold more. Jay-Z is better because he is. "Do you dudes lsiten too music, or do you just skim through it".
50 is a ABC rapper and he uses recycled rhymes. He's not the worst in the world but.....far from the best MUSICLY.

I admit that 50 Cent isn't a freestyle artist. He's better at writing his music and delivering it but the real quality comes with the way he does it.
Which other rapper out there is as cocky and arrogant as 50 Cent? No one, Jay has probably the same amount of money as 50 Cent but yet he doesn't brag about it like 50. Because Jay got used to it whereas 50 is still enjoying it.

Im not sure what being cocky and arrogant has to do with who is the better musician , but IMO 50 is not that great a writer his metaphors are mediocre at best, and his rythems are not that clever.
With Jay you gotta listen to him a couple times to get what he saying and then it still might go over your head. Last week I caught something he said on reasonable doubt that went over my head for years. 50 beats sound like the some old joints from 97-98, and the album is just plain boring. I dont care how much money they have I care about the music...

look how much 50 Cent has helped these other rappers. 50 Cent helped Bank, Buck, Game and Yayo to all get on the mainstream.
Beg For Mercy sold 6 million and who wrote 90% of that, 50 Cent.
Who was it that helped Game sell 5 million with 3 hot singles, 50 cent
Who was it that helped Mobb Deep get their well deserved recognition after so long, 50 Cent

Jay did the same for Dr. Dre on 2001. Jay signed MOP. and the nicest mc 50 ever helped was Banks and I think Banks could have built his buzz by himself. Jay signed Beans, Freeway, hell the whole SP, had the Diplomats for a while . Bein with Jay gets you shine.
So as you can probably see, I'm a Jay fan. I am also 50 fan but Jay is the greater MC to me.
