KENDRICK LAMAR IS SIGNED TO AFTERMATH AS A SOLO ARTIST. BLACK HIPPY AS A GROUP (KENDRICK/JAYROCK/Q/SOUL) ARE ALSO SIGNED. Q & AB-SOUL DON'T HAVE DEALS THOUGH, THEY'RE JUST SIGNED TO INTERSCOPE AND T.D.E. (TOP DAWG ENTERTAINMENT.) Q HAS ALWAYS BEEN SAYING THAT 50 IS HIS FAVORITE RAPPER AND THAT HIS MUSIC HELPED SAVE HIS LIFE. IF YOU LISTEN TO HIS ALBUMS, HIS HUNGER SOUNDS JUST LIKE HIM, TOO. THE THING IS, Q HAS BEEN SAYING FOR A WHILE THAT HE WANTS TO WORK WITH 50 REGULARLY, AND HAS GONE AS FAR TO SAY THAT EVERY-TIME THEY SEE EACH OTHER THEY CHOP IT UP FOR AN HOUR OR TWO. NOW THAT Q IS SIGNED TO INTERSCOPE, HE NEEDS AN ADDITIONAL LABEL BESIDES T.D.E. BEFORE HE CAN START PUTTING OUT MUSIC THAT WILL CHART (JIMMY WOULD EVEN AGREE WITH THIS,) AND THAT'S WHY I THOUGHT IT'D BE A GOOD IDEA TO SIGN Q TO G-UNIT IN A JOINT VENTURE, BUT THAT WAS ALL SPECULATION. In case you didn't know, dangerookipawaa, aka Dave Tiffith is the CEO and founder of TOP DAWG ENTERTAINMENT, the original indie label that Black Hippy is signed to. He was the one who negotiated with Dre to sign Kendrick & Black Hippy as a group to aftermath, and no doubt he'd do a joint venture with 50 as well for Q. This would be the biggest and best signing as of yet if 50 did this, and I really think it comes down to if Jimmy The Jew Iovine trys to c*** block the ordeal. Q & the whole Black Hippy crew are about to blow up, and Habits & Contradictions was the best, most cohesive hip hop album of 2012 so far, even harsh critic websites such as Pitchfork are saying that. Sorry for all the caps, I'm just going bananas if this actually comes true.
