I'm still waiting to see or hear how Jeezy is lyrically nice...Double standards run so thick in hip hop, any punchline Jeezy has said has been a 2000-2001 style weak punchline (never scared like ti and bone crusher, choppers like a bike club etc..) nothing complex or hard and not lyrical and even his style of rap and choice of words he doesn't really kick the same number and same syllable style of lyrics. I've never heard anyone talk about rewind the track to hear a line again or anything, everybody's excuse for Jeezy is (oh he's not lyrical, he makes music for the streets) but its when hes always talking about the same subject and topic in his lyrics over and over its all good but 50 gets hate for it? LMAO they get at 50 for 'when i say im ballin im not talkin bout a ball' like 'i aint a xbox why u tryna play me' is any better.....playing/video game style punches 97-98 lmao

So it's Jeezy's flow and delivery that's hot but I was speaking about content and lyrical substance...the actual lines and what's being said not how it's said. I'm not even hating on him all I'm trying to figure out is how 50 is held at such a high standard but is quick to be called repetitive and not lyrical but a Jeezy gets a pass because how he says it not what he's spitting...get what I'm trying to say ? With 50 it's never enough, and with Jeezy they just settle for less/whatever, I understand his record "My President" was big and an anthem I'm not doubting that or taking anything away from him but I'm sure what my initial message and point is won't get missed. Plus if you strip away just a few topics he wouldn't be left with too much material.
