My Beef With Rolling Stone's "500 Greatest Albums Of All Time" List
Ok so Rolling Stone magazine just released their "500 Greatest Albums Of All Time" Issue. As I expected, they have like every Beatles album on the list (3 of which are in the top 10). No surprise there. Other typical entries include Bob Dylan, U2, Brue Springsteen, The Police, Michael Jackson, Prince, etc. Again, not surprising. Out of 500 albums, I'd say there may be 25 - 30 from the hip hop genre and the first entry doesn't appear until #48:
I'm not mad at that either. I own "It Takes A Nation..." and it is a masterpiece. Personally, I would've placed it in a higher position but whatever. Nas' "Illmatic" came in at #402. Ok fine. What concerns me is the fact that out of the few hip hop albums that made the list, this man's work is NOWHERE to be found:

Em ain't that bad, besides the f*cked up sh!t he raps about. we all know he ain't the "king" of hip hop because there really isn't any. it's just a debate of who's the best, you can't deny that Em isn't an MC tho.
