Meet Over 21. O21 consist of Kevin "K. Marable" Marable, a resident of Woodbridge, VA and Broadus "B.Palma" Palmer, a representative from the small town of Palmyra, VA. Both started out as independent solo artists in pursuit of their dreams when the two happened to cross paths using the social network Twitter to discover each other’s talents. After collaborating on a couple of songs together, the two decided to come together to form the hip-hop duo Over 21. Both growing up and being inspired by the sounds of The Notorious B.I.G., Tupac Shakur, Jay-Z, Kayne West, Lupe Fiasco, Outkast, and T.I. just to name a few, K. Marable with his brash lyrical ability and B. Palma with his simple yet emotional driven lyrics and sonic harmonies, deliver a refreshing sound that is unmatched in today's musical world of hip-hop. Not to mention opening for DMV's own WALE, and being featured on countless blogs with a video that garnering some great attention online, People will understand that great rap duos are a rare breed these days! Over 21 represent real life, real situations, and most importantly real people. You will experience that in their upcoming project, 'The Morning After,' which they represent the struggle, the heartbreak, and the celebration of Life.
