Firstly, the average artist would usually have two - three singles out on the radio along with the music video on BET/MTV when they're about the drop an album......
What did 50 have out? Just one single, Baby By Me. Plus that song was released and it was only weeks after then the music video was made and released. That delay in time should not have occured.
Also, what about Ok, You're Right. That was a really hot track, but did 50 Cent release it as a single? No, not to date. What he did was release the Music Video on itunes. Is the single out? No......
Where is Get Up, or I Get It In on the album? Those tracks performed well when comparing it to tracks like Strait To The Bank and Amusement Park. So why was those tracks not included on the album? 50 Cent could have at least put those tracks on there so people can identify the album more clearly.
50 cent has no one to blame but poor management. Poor management and poor decisions and poor timing.
Before I Self Destruct is a great album....but because of the flaws in its release and marketing, not much people are going to get a chance to listen to it due to lack of interest.
The MAIN weapon in releasing an album in the radio buzz. Curtis was 50's worst CD in terms of quality but yet sold 690,000 copies first week. Why? Cause he had about 5 singles out (maybe 4) with a music video to back each of them up.
Right now all he has is 1 single and i video. Ok, You're Right isn't doing anything for the album any more. Release the other damn singles for the album when you still have the buzz for it.......dont wait.

Overall, I’m a fan of the Elimination Chamber match. It’s a pretty cool concept, and there are usually several moments that leave you saying ‘DAMN.’ As long as someone jumps off the top of a pod, and someone breaks the the lexan glass, I’m usually satisfied. For my money, the best Chamber match was the first one in 2002, at MSG, with Shawn Michaels winning the World Heavyweight Title. I don’t know if any year will top that one, but the Raw match certainly has the talent to do it. Let’s take a…See More
