Of course, from a hip-hop's fan perspective it's a bad idea. But some of the white people I'm around on a daily basis really LOVE Lil Wayne's new music and I'm still a fan of a lot of his mixtape material. To me, dude is just creative as a muthafucka. I know it's not the popular thing to say, but Wayne is really running rap right now and it looks like he's going to be running rock soon too. I mean, that "Let It Rock" song is tight, even to me. When I listen to music, I don't be like, aww, he ain't spittin, this s*** is wack. I listen to it like a producer would and can tell if s*** is a hit or not most of the time. You have to think outside the box. There's backlash for it, such as Kanye being criticized for all the gay s*** he does, but at the end of the day, these niggas don't give a f*** about how us feel about they s***. They know some gonna love it, some gonna hate it, so they just gonna keep doing what they doing to make they money. It's just the way of the world.
