All I'm saying is when the North was "running" hip hop money was flowing like water any n**** with a hot sixteen could sell amilli now that the south is "running" hip hop record sales are down artist are going broke cars repo'd houses foreclosed, some would say that The south ruined what the north built much like Bush ruined the surplus that Willaim Jefferson Clinton built

1st the south expanded hip hop
2nd when the north was running hip hop (there wasnt alot of internet downloading of music )
thats why its hard to sell records period..........
3rd the north hasnt died at all
But alot may have to do with the beats tht are being used
you will never hear a hot 16 if you skip the song cuz the beat is lame as hell......
the cats up north that atleast got hot tracks and decent lyrics aint got no problem selling records.....
hell the smart 1's got on tracks with hot artist from the south and still doing they thing

50's in a tough spot stay true to street s*** and flop or try to make a R&B/Pop/Hip hop song like "lollipop" or "whatever you like"........and be called a sell out
