Is Nicki Minaj now the 'Queen of Hip Hop'?
Now, I know this may sound crazy to y'all & even an overstatement; but let's see it from this angle. Nicki Minaj is doin' her damn thang! You see, the female side of hip hop has been on empty for the past 4 years. Lil' Kim's last album was back in 2006. Trina last album flopped & her last big hit record was back in 2005 with Kelly Rowland. Eve dropped two singles back in 2007 that bricked & her album got pushed back to who knows. Foxy Brown was dropped from Def Jam & her last album people didn't even know was out. Of course, Remy Ma left Terror Squad & is now serving a prison sentence for shooting her best friend. After all of that turmoil comes Nicki Minaj from South-side Jamaica Queens. She dropped a mixtape back in 2007 & did a DVD called 'The Come Up'. She was snatched up by Lil' Wayne, who later was at that time on his way up the latter. She dropped a dope verse on Gucci mane's 'Slumber Party'. Then, she dropped a classic mix-tape called 'Beem Me Up Scotty'. Now, she's done songs wit' Lil' Wayne, Trina, Yo Gotti, Gucci Mane, Lloyd & Bobby Valentino. Plus, she sings as well. To top the whole cake, she writes her own material & was on the biggest tour of the summer called 'Amerikaz Most Wanted Tour' with her band-mates Young Money, Soulja Boy & Young Jeezy. That's more work than the other female rappers put together these past 4 years. What do you think?

Well after seeing her preform last night in concert at my school DSU, Niggas was feeling her hard, It seemed like everybody knew every single word to her songs, so IDK I believe she might just be the next big Queen of Hip Hop!!!!!

Mixtape was way better than big 10, he featured on a few big hits and came off an all time record breaking tour. He's number one. It's not about movies and headphones
