I fuccs wit DATPIFF hard! I do believe dey b fakin dey #'s, but fucc it I still think fif should drop da tape durr first fo sho! All deez ma fuccas acrin like Lil highs school girls bout da meek mill mixtape trynna make it get mo buzz( yet I still haven't even clicced play on da cop / mmg music, fucc em) iPhone hits an app where if u make an acct on datpiff u can add any mixtape to ur favorites (ILL) dad how I b keepin up wit all my mixtape s***! But I just let g unit/ fif do wat dey do as far as releasing music. I consider my self a big fan of da homies... But don't get how haters b anticipating dey s*** mo Dan dey actual fans. We chillin bumpin other rappers / mc music, while y'all keep complaining bout dis ain't right, no fucc dat I went to Harvard & IM a marketing major no fucc dat I went to UCLA b**** I know marketing & promotion .... Blah blah blah. Shut da fucc up.... & let dem do wat it do . If dey fail fucc it . If dey don't fucc it to . We don't matter to deez rappers. Get a life ... Focus on gettin $$$! 1

Ross may have an industry inflated buzz but his music will never have long life replay value like the greats, his music will always be in what's hot now cycle! Although he is terrible lol, I still haven't heard him once on our major radio station in Australia, but still hearing 50. Definition Roos=flavor of the year and 50=classics that have longevity #SK

First of all nobody cares what is hot in Australia (I will explain why later).

Secondly, you being from their explains why you have no idea what is hot over here. It explains why you think Ross is just a flavour of the year when in rality Port of Miami is still enjoyed by TONS of people 6 years later.

Thirdly, 50 is not a huge star in Australia, you only think that because you and your friends listen to him.

GRODT is 2x plat down there (140k). Massacre is plat (70k). Curtis is gold (35k). That is about 250k. Add a bit for the uncertified BISD and catalog sales of the albums that puts 50's entire Australian sales at about 300k.

Ross worst selling album in the USA to date has sold 450k. So just think about that next time you think anybody gives a damn about you thinking 50 is hot in Australia. Over a 10 year career, 50's sales in Australia are still not even CLOSE to Ross single WORST selling album in the USA alone.

Just so we are clear, 50's entire decade long career in Australia < Ross' lowest point in his entire career in the USA. That is why nobody cares about your Aussi radio still playing 50, it is simply irrelevant in comparison.

Oh, and for comparison, a true rap star in your country, eminem, went 8x plat with Eminem show (so as you can see that 2x plat for GRODT and 1x plat for Massacre are not much at all for a "huge superstar")

Australia has 1/12th the population of the USA.

And props to Optimus. Ross does has an industry inflated buzz. Ross is DefJams answer to trying to get a superstar artist, so they pulling out all the stops to make it work.

They scared to fuccin death he sells way less than 214k first week again..

Mic just cant read between the lines. in no way did i say australia has the say over what hot and whats not! i cannot talk about things i do not understand, i come from australia so i am speaking on what i see going on over here. how come you didnt put ross's numbers from down here up? after all he has sold 7 million copies WW haha! besides that eminem is white and of course he sold more thna GRODT you f****** tard he probably did in the usa also, he is the GOAT in hiphop lol. my point was that 50 will have hits that live and ross simply wont, aint no one still banging a ja rule song anywhere and he was forced to be 2pac/Dmx just like they tryna force ross to a biggie! your number game is quite embarassing, i would rather talk facts then copy past numbers from sound scan.
also i never said 50 is the biggest star in australia? jay-z, em and kanye are that department. im saying i still hear 50 classics all the time but never heard a ross track once, im not sure ive even heard him on a feature down here. so what im saying is 50's music will have longevity and rozay's music never will. and if you really are candian shame on you for picking on australia cause it aint apart of america, cause canada aint no part of usa either! #SK

I feel that. Last week I was telling em Ross can't get on 50's level because his best hooks can't match the complexity of a 50 cent hook.. the better ones.

Now look, I aint gonna dwell on this sh1t. But someone just said on this forum 'Saying Officer Ricky isn't going to stop him selling records'... yeh yeh, that's nice and everything. But these troll a** niccas needa understand their 10 hour daily shifts on TI50.com isn't going to take away from 50 Cent's legacy.. AT ALL!

why would 50 care how many download off a mixtape he gets, when he created em? im not hatin on Mic he just refuses to look at anything but the numbers, because his god said 'men lie, women lie, numbers don't'! these threads are gettin out of control with screen beef, it would be good to just have a legitimate discussion beyond sales, based on the credibility of an artists status, music, creativity etc... because at the end of the day i see every thread when 50 releases new music and people hate on it and say he needs to switch it up?
1. switch it up with new content like he hasnt made over 200 songs through mixtapes and albums.
2. every complained about eminem using to many accents and switching it up on relapse, but when he made recover he still rapped about the same s*** he always does (still a dope record)
3.everyone says 50s subject matter is the same, but aint quick to say ross does use the same template for every song he features on or has himself.
4. the label is the main reason any artist sells, good music doesnt sell, popularity does! #SK
