The definition of gangsta used in rap is completely different when said..but when rappers like game and lil wayne claim to be bloods. It's completely different. They claiming a set they have no affiliations with. Let me tell you a story.

Was a dude from Cleveland. He was A REAL crip. He was my best friends uncle and he used to come chill with us when s*** got hot in the city. This is bout when I was 15 - 16. This is the real deal I ain't shittin you. When he'd come back my click would donate him clothes cuz he would come back with a suitcase full of blue clothes n blue rags and he couldn't wear that s*** up here cuz he in a different city. Up here we was hustlin but we was gettin s***** prices cuz we didn't have any good connections. He changed all that for us. I asked em one time If he'd take me to "the land" me being from pittsburgh to get some s*** and he said he was down with that. So when we went to leave he changed all his clothes to blue, rags on and all and took me st8 to the hood. We rolled up to some niggas crib and he told me jus keep ur mouth shut n all will be good. So we roll in and explain to them niggas we can run the burgh them niggas say u with him u with us you can come back here netime n you'll be fine. We was gettin lbs of green for 400$ when we was payin 1500/1600 for a lil better s*** but not by much.
My boy ended up dyin in a car crash round here w. us. and I had to go back to the land n tell them. They had a strict code against leavin the area but he was important in the land cuz we was runnin pittsburgh for them. They real down there. They don't play. I still deal with real niggas and I'll tell you right now, None of ur fav rappers are gangstas.
These real rules I'll tell you how it goes.
1. Don't be seen w.o ur rag. If you are you're abandonin the blue.
2. You see red you do somethin no matter wut ur numbers.
3. You never wear red.
4. Initiations are beat ins, Even chicks get it.
5. Any money you make is blue money.
6. You ain't allowed to travel w.o strict permission.
