I saw 50 cent on bet and he said he generates the most interest for a New york rapper. Than how come Jay-z, Nas, and Diddy's last album sold more than Before i self destruct!
50 isnt the king of ny anymore right now hes the number 4 king of ny. he cant sell more than jay-z or even nas anymore! 50 is going to feel embarassed soon. I hope 50 cent remembers his repuation is at risk selling this low!

Well Diddy's last album did just over 100k first week and that was in like '06-'07
Nas did around 170-180k first week in '07
Jay is in his own lane and has more older fans that actually purchase albums than 50 does.
And he definetly draws the most interest from an entertaiment perspective when it comes to NY...he always has something going on that gets peoples attention. Jay may do bigger numbers at this point but wtf has he done to spur any interest in NY in the past 4-5 years besides the record now with Alicia Keys?
