Jay as dope as he and you think he is he still lost to Nas (and if you say otherwise I cant talk to you anymore) Just cause you dont see depth of lyrics on songs put out for different markets dont mean you should sleep. You just didnt take that class dont worry about it its not for everybody

Jay is tight and has to make record for the masses His choices have shown that he is sacraficing for his betterment and not the people as a collective. Thats all well and good get ya money but nothing in that says you cant get correctly tested.

Jada had a nice response but it didnt kill 50 by any streach if you ask me 50 killed it when he said he would push styles s*** back and less than a month later it was pushed back. Even styles P was like yo Jada just showed he could hold his own with the big boys and was fighting for his life. lol

L it must have went over your head if you dont know. Just because he makes party records dont mean he aint lyrical. I dont like most of his songs but that lightskinned theory sounds like some BS for real. No you dont have to use people to make it. But you sure cant worry about every opinionated ass hole. I want my son or daughter to definitly hold themselves in high regard. If that causes the people who are looking in to feel that they are conceited so be it. YOU dont have to stop shinnin so other people can feel better about themselves shine your brightest so they know they can do the same also.

I agree. I never liked a selfish person. Look at all the people 50 has and still does help. Look how he moved most of his neighborhood crew into his mansion. 50 has a great heart. That's the one thing nobody can compare to.

wow.
im embarassed that this thread was ever allowed ta happen.
i realize now that the majority of ppl in here are either dickridin 50 groupies or too young ta kno what the hell theyre talkin about
and the worst part about me sayin that is that im only 21 n i got more sense than ta say some of this b*******
50 better than jay-z??
do u have any idea what ur really saying with that statement??
i respect 50 for what he's accomplished and his versatility sure
and his flow's...nice. that's it.
i challenge ANYONE ta show me a 50 verse that goes hard enuff ta where i cant find a jay verse that smashes it into the dirt.
50 GOT FULL. HE LOST HIS HUNGER AFTER HIS SECOND ALBUM. AND HIS HUNGER IS WHAT MADE HIM WHO HE WAS.
jay has been more or less consistent from square 1. and lyrically, he's one of ONLY FOUR rappers that i would admit ta not bein able ta f*** with.

and im the illest of my generation. id kill 50 in 8 bars, if that many.

Yea to say dat is really funny 50 is not better than jay in any form if you come to new york whos the better artist theyll say Jay Z .50 couldnt go at jada he put his wealth against him .50 is just a clown who tries to diss nas and so much people that is better than him

I dont think anybody in their right mind would say 50 a better lyricist than Jay...

however... I prefer any of 50's s*** over any of Jay's... fif a better artist period
