The consumers are the real killers of hip hop because if they didn't buy the garbage thats out there it wouldn't be the way it is now. If there is no demand then there is no supply and as long as people support artist with no lyrical skill hip hop is going to remain this way.

in industry and corporate america because they have realized even though they (Tupac, NWA, and other influential artists) produced record sales, they dont want it taking over america so they dumb that s*** down and call on new artists to make up a rap sheet and come on the seen portrayin whats goin on in the hood...the radio because there with the industry and are pumping out that candy-rap s*** and playing it over and over, eventually programming it into our heads....and we (the consumer) did because were falling into that s*** and voting for it on count downs (even though our vote doesnt count) and somewhat supporting this s***
