Lol...this thread old...n**** I was listenin 2 rap witout acutally knowin wat it was...I got into afta I saw 50 hangin upside down in the "in da club" video...n kept pace wit everything

I was 10 when I first heard LL cool J mamma said knock you out and MC Hammer thats when I started listening to Rap then came snoop, Dre, Pac and Ice cube

i was 11 the first artist i heard was pac and the song i heard was hailmary and i didnt understand it cuz i didnt speak english at that time but even though i didnt understand it i thought that s*** was dope since then i been hooked on hip hop

Im now 1yr older then 50. all i was listening to was run dmc & Ice T. which started me off to listening to rap. i.ve been really hooked on it since.

The first rapper I ever heard of mustv been Eminem, 11. My sister listened to him.
Not from USA, so all we heard from rappers were mainstream rappers.
Then got interested in G Unit,12/13, not im 16 and still a unit fan, but
I listen most to underground rap, mostly from the westcoast.
