50s Career is fine imo
What happened in Hip Hop is the General public's attention span became that of a 2 year old.
One minute Cashing out is the Hot record and the next week its I luv dem Strippers
New Day dropped and was an instant banger shot up the Itunes Chart and debuted on BB100 @79 WITH NO OFFICIAL RELEASE TO RADIO
What was out of his control was the changing of the staff at Interscope who were coming from other labels and not being the biggest fans of 50
From a Musical Perspective i Think 50 is a Genius for what hes about to do which is work with big name artist at the point in his career when the Excitement from the casual fan was dwindling. Us Loyal Fans are always excited by his new material
This will reignite the interest in his music from the casual buyer who wants to see a 50/Jeezy, 50/Kanye 50/Drake, 50/2 Chainz record etc etc
Whats interesting is, I came up where a song would be hot for 6 months. And u can personally extend ur love for the song for a further 6 years if you like. I still bump Jay-Z Big P i m ping like it came out yesterday. These days.. a hot song only sticks around 6 weeks. Whats up with that..
