GRODT is not a classic?
I decided to make a thread... not about Before I Self Destruct cuz i could careless if he sold 1 copy and I was the only one. Im satisfied, and the haters can go buy their mountain dew and cheetos and sit in their moms basment and celebrate.
But anyways, a Jay Z stan told me GRODT sucks and wasn't even close to a classic... and that ppl only consider it a classic cuz it sold alot. Also that if Jay Z retired after Reasonable Doubt, his discography would be better then 50's.
Is that true? I don't think so

Get Rich was classic in terms of material and impact. That cd had the music industry on lockdown its release year and a good part of the next year. Not to mention the five something months between Wanksta first release then In Da Club and then Feb When the album dropped. The energy was crazy. You can't hate on a record like that. That's like saying Hov Blueprint 1 wasn't a classic. Dude probably made because 50 and Jay moving past taking jabs and he feel like he gotta take sides.
