ok f*** lil wayne. but the south has the best rapper alive: Ludacris, he is a straight up lyricist. And kanye is definitely f****** ip with his singing s***, he needs to stick to rap. But Lupe Fiasco is the realest in the game right now if he retires like he says Hip Hop will definitly take a step down.

another "the south ruined hip hop" thread huh? I'm from NY but I live and grind in the south. Let me ask this question: if the south didn't have control of things as they do, what artist do you think should be on the radio? What I'm saying is NY is whack now too. there aren't any NY artist worthy of the spotlight either. It's not the south, it's not New York or whoever thats ruining hip hop.
