LMAO At the picture... I think people respect Em because of his lyrical ability and being brave enough to tell about his fuked up life as a Kid. When he's on some real heart felt s*** like "The Way I am" and Toy Soilders, Sing for the Moment, he's one of the best. He's got props from the big names in the Industry who set their tone for hip hop like Jay, Nas and Dre, and let's be honest it's tough for Black Rappers to get that credit, let alone a White Rapper... You have to give him his respect for that.. Em said it the best on "Til I Colaspe" That was one of my fave songs from him.. I think he's a great artist, but me personally I wouldn't put him over Big,Pac, Cube, Nas or Scarface only because I related to their stories personally...

Em is cool. I respect his lyrical ability. But he ain't the greatest.
Plus I like him when he is rapping as Marshall Matters.
Slim Shady alter ego ain't doing it. I can't call a clown the greatest just because he describes faggotry with sublime. I gotta take a rapper serious to call him great/greatest etc.

^^^It doesn't..that's why I don't understand all these threads where people in the hood talking about Oh it's wack and I can't play that in my hood.. Well Em never been related to the Black youth in the hood so what did you expect.. You have to take Em style for what it is..and that's a crazy ass white suburban kid with a messed up childhood.. ^^^I'm not defending Em's Fuckery Homie, but some of ya'll are getting to Emotional over Em when He's been doing this s*** since his first Cd.. I mean if you expected Em to rap about Selling Drugs, Hoes or whatever than you were fooling yourself.. If you really think Em kissing Manequins than that's your postion but just like every n**** from the hood rapping about selling dope and busting their guns ain't really doing the s***, but you still respect it, is the same way Em's fuked up stories and lines about pills that you know is not the truth should be respected..
