WHATS CLASSIC ABOUT AN ALBUM THATS ABOUT POPPING PILLS, GAY FORNACATION, MOLESTATION, PEDOPHILERS, AND A SERIAL KILLER?????? I DONT GET IT?? CAN SOMEONE SCHOOL ME ON WHY THAT CLASSIC MATERIAL?? IF ANY OTHER RAPPER ON THE PLANET MADE AN ALBUM BOUT THAT, THEY'D BE BANNED FROM HIP HOP!!!

In all honesty I like some of em's work, but this is srtaight garbage. Don't even sounds like some of Dre's best work on the production, but maybe its because em is not spitt'in fire over them.I'm gonna listen to it again to see if I can feel his swag(no homo) but .....................where the real shady at

It's Em, he's going back to that Slim Shady vibe w/ all the metaphors and crazy descriptions BUT he's not using that high pitched Slim Shady voice....PLUS every song is a whole new FLOW. Like on "My Mom" you gotta realize Em "keeps it real" his way, he ain't a drug dealer so he ain't rappin about that. He IS a former drug addict and that's partially becuz of his upbringing...which is what the song's about, his "reality". The dope part, is he he's almost on some Rastafarian s*** w/ the hook and the flow is unique to the beat.

I wont go as far as calling this album a classic with albums like "ready to die' - GRODT - illmatic ect.ect. just yet.. i dont know if it will ever be considered like that kind of classic because most hiphop heads arent feeling the content of the album...
BUT
a few ingredents that i will say that RELAPSE has that consists of a classic album is that it has hott beats, almost every song on this album has hott beats:
The lyrical word play is just off the charts:
The flow is smooth and different on all most every verse and every track, which most rappers cant do.. alot of rappers just have a simple flow that they stick with because they cant switch it up..
and the whole album is a constant theme that he is running with:
THE ONLY REASON WHY SOME PEOPLE DONT LIKE THIS ALBUM IS THE LYRICAL CONTENT IN IT BECAUSE PEOPLE ARE SAYING THEY CANT RELATE TO IT...
