You know i love 50's music but reading some of these comments makes me f***** sick, i mean he just gave us 2 super mixtapes, and a classic album what else do you stupid asses want? Huh? His album leaked 3 weeks before release, so people download it instead of buying it. Did you haters check the number of times the leaked version has been downloaded. And no im not a stan cuz im happy with my life unlike all you f***** insecure haters!!!! 50 is better but you stupid mofos choose to kill the king and keep that "scared to respond ass ni**a" on top.
HEY memo fall back nobody's taking sides, both of them hot but I wonder if 50 Cent can get the 1# record on the Billboards 100 at 40 years old. I mean I don't think Jay-z representing Brooklyn right and 50 cent is going to do his thing even if the album sales don;t reflect the classic album. Great music but they both rich and older so lets keep it going with the creativity Hip Hop artists.
Blueprint is something different; in regards to the attitude of the album, and the use of sounds/mix in the actual album. Personally i think BP3 had 4-5 good songs, with "Already Home" being one of the best, i thought the Drake joint was completely whack and way overhyped.
Before I self Destruct is hard music; something that satisfy's NEW YORK. Its hard hitting, grimey, and gangsta. Unheard flow from 50 on physco, lyrical homicide on Stretch, Death To my Enemies, Then Days went by and So Disrespectful.
All in all; both albums were solid, but Fif clearly outmatched Jay. An artist tends to be desperate for radio play and sales when they look for 2/3's of the album with featured artists. Kanye West, Alicia Keys, and Rihanna are Jays cash cows, and for 50, his music and grimey feel brings the audience, with VERY few guest appearences.
hahaha! funny but s*** eint simple! dont make me choose between 50 & jiga coz they both ma dawgs! big up to them both! they both rich anyway no matter what i think.
50 and jay did what they do for their fans, or targets.... http://www.datpiff.com/Johny_Rich_Bipolar.m80311.html but i think people just underestimate 50 and they hate him to death for where he came from to where he went, the funny thing is , some treat Jay the same way
I like both. Jay's production was real laid back and I play most that cd late at night when I'm driving but 50 s*** right for the gym and during rush hour. Just depends on my mood. Also it's 2 different cds. Hov trying to stay hot by making the type of music the new generation of fans will relate to while keeping some of his artistic credibilty whereas 50 took it back 7 years to when he was spitting hard s*** and showed growth on top of it.
BISD hands down, and i am not saying it just because i am a hardcore 50 fan... but jay album wasnt all that good, i couldnt finish hearing the whole album, i had to turn it off! and with 50 BISD it was a drug, i couldnt and still till right now as we speak bumping BISD!!!!
