The record company, because they all about what sells the most, and not what people really want to hear.
Its enough hip hop for everyone. Let the commercial be commercial. Let those who eat off of it eat. Its enough underground and non commercial hip hop if thats what you wanna hear. In hip hop I think we think too small sometimes. There can be more ways than one for hip hop to stay alive.
i dont think its the artist or the record companies fault I think its the Fans that buy the s***. Dont blame the artist for tryin 2 make money.
i think it's alright to hear some lovely brands like LV, Gucci, Fendi & Dior, and some nice cars Ferrari, Cadillac & Lamborghini car, isn't it ;)
its tha record company fault, they givinin these fake wack niggas deals, because they rather be sumbody ho instead of themselves
hip hop is more worry about ring tones thats why they only release like two good songs and thats about it when u worry about just pushing album out cause u wanna get your money wheres the love for the game and people think that hip hop is what the radio play but theirs actually a lot of other artist that still release good albums but u know your not really a hip hop fan if u only listen to what the radio plays so it has gotten commercial artist like 50 jay nas snoop gayme wayne have all gone commercial hip hop is going to fall off if somebody doesnt release a good album that brings back hip hop to what it in the 90's and early 2000
how? go listen too underground s***
hell yeah, hip hop went commercial years ago...da executives looked @ hip hop as a bizness since da sugarhill days, while da artist just looked @ it as an artform and an expression of creativity...once da artists realized they were gettin robbed by da labels 4 many years, they got da bizness sense and noticed dat they can make alotta money by followin da formulas ( money, cars, clothes, and hoes ) in they music just 2 get radio and video play...dats wut we look @ as hit records now, so dats wut they stick wit and dats why its all we hear bout nowadays...and if it works dats wut they continue 2 do...ever notice dat majority of da artist dat dnt follow da formulas ( underground artist ) never get da radio or video play of niggaz dat do??...dat sumtimes lead 2 niggaz crossin over cuz they got bills 2 pay and families 2 feed...s***, HOV said it best..HE RATHER BE RHYMIN LIKE COMMON SENSE BUT SINCE GOING 5x PLATINUM, HE AINT BEEN RHYMIN LIKE COMMON SINCE...
yeah dats true 2, but i guess non underground artists are leavin it up 2 da underground artist 2 do real hip hop...da problem is alot of underground artist decide 2 go commercial @ times and dat leads 2 da point u just finished makin, na'mean...
