kill yaself ... thats prolly his HARDEST s*** ... you know the track list so i dont have to name the songs ... that s*** was in rotation everyday .... i dont see how THIS album made niggas start to turn away, GRODT is a classic no doubt ... but i know you niggas might laugh and i dont give a f*** but the Massacre=classic .... yeah i said it ... it was tough all the way through, and you cant justify by saying "oh candy shop and just a lil bit was ass"... cause they were great commercial tracks and anyone whos anyone knows you have to balance the album out ...Makaveli had "just like daddy" does that not make it a classic ... hell nah .... Life After Death had "You nasty" does that not make it a classic ... hell nah ... ONE song dont justify classic status ... hell ... Blueprint had Hola Hovito does that not make it classic ... nope .... so with all that s*** said ... imo ... The Massacre=classic ... slept on classic at that .... but real niggas know ...
I agree with you homey. The Massacre was a classic. From the storytelling in "Baltimore Love Thing" to the gritty street sounds of "I'm Supposed to Die Tonight" to the grown man vibe on "Ryder Music", the s*** was fire up and down. And honestly, I'd prefer listening to it even more than the GRODT album (which was a classic as well). I think by that time though that people had realized what 50 was about and just started not liking him. And by that I mean they see that he was a threat to expose they favorite rapper at any point. I still like Fif. Not as much as I did. Some of his moves were a lil' shady, but the music was still bumping. Especially "The Massacre".
yo the best song on that cd was position of power thats for all the real niggas out there gettin paid hustle hard n**** never b contempt wat the money u got always stride for money legal or illegal
how the hell was massacre was a classic even if candy shop and just a lil bit was not on there it still is not a classic i agree with you on the biggie and the tupac but again massacre wasn't that great i mean fifty was the s*** when first came out with wankasta and in the club now hes not the same no more i guess money got the best of him now but hope his new album will at least be good because the last two wasn't feeling it.
Be real with your self my favorite rapper is nas i am not going to say every album he put out is classic hell no what ever happen to say the album is decent you guys throwing classics on a albums for the hell of it
wtf?! Candy Shop and Lil Bit was the BEST commercial songs of that time period, yall who say its candy shop that made the album wack is ignorant as hell. Yall prolly sayin it cuz Game said it. Wasnt candy shop in the billboard where 50 had the 1st 3 charts (1st time ever since beatles)? idk i could be wrong but, yeah candy shop was a hit, so was a lil bit.
Ryder music and Position of power are ma s*** though on that album! Yeah we need more s*** like that in 50's album.
Yeah Massacre was CLASSIC, Curtis was very good.
at the time 2005 massacre was bangin from like nearly every car hate it or love it candy shop was a banger ,disco inferno and jus a lil bit was his best selection for singles thats why he had the charts on SMASH
Are you kidding me? Curtis wasnt a good album? It wasnt his best, but it was hot. There was 3 wack songs on Curtis, Ams Park, Fire and Follow My Lead. That s*** had hard joints like Gun Go Off, Man Down, Still Kill, I Get Money, Come and Go, Movin On Up, Fully Loaded Clip, Curtis 187, Hands Up High, those werent dope joints? Then with decent joints like STTB, Peep Show, and even All Of Me and Ayo were dope chick songs. Overall the album was hot, 3 wack songs, thats it. So to say Curtis was not good, you either dont know hot music, or are a hater. The album clearly was 3.5/5 without question.
But what if Fif kept songs he did from Mass to Curtis, now I know all of them arent his songs, he may have just appeared on them, but what if songs like Creep, Nightmares, Pearly Gates, Cake, Rotten Apple, Hold On, the joint on Timbos album with Yayo, Funeral Music, You Dont Know, The Re Up, s*** like that, not all were his songs, but if he had all those songs he was on, and kept them for his album, along with the hot joints off Curtis, imagine how hot of an album he could have put out?
